Measuring the value of your dioptre
An examination for prescribing eyeglasses is usually part of a complete general ocular check-up, unless it is performed solely for the purpose of getting new glasses. In this case, it is sufficient to estimate visual acuity and to determine the dioptre value using a refractometer. For all examinations, we use only the latest equipment that enables very precise measurements. The final dioptre value for eyeglasses or contact lenses is prescribed according to your own subjective judgment of the quality of vision which you evaluate by trying on corrective glasses with different vergencies. The final dioptre value will undoubtedly be correctly measured at our centre. And you will also make the right decision by taking advantage of the expertise of our opticians at our MOOP optical clinic by letting them help you select the type of glass and frames that are most suitable for your face and lifestyle.More about patient experiences

My former optician diagnosed me with 90% vision, citing it would worsen over time. Morela Ophthalmologists discovered an error in the diagnosis and corrected it with the correct dioptre prescription. Today, I see perfectly without suffering continuous headaches and will gladly go back to Morela Ophthalmologists. Thank you Morela!
